Unemployment Compensation Hearings and Appeals:

If you are denied unemployment benefits after your employment has been terminated or after the conditions of employment have become so unbearable that you leave such employment, you may appeal that decision to an appeals examiner in New Jersey and a referee in Pennsylvania.   The burden to prove grounds for disqualification rests with the employer but it is important that the employee preserve his/her rights and receive the benefits to which s/he is entitled.
